Summary: "Great Kit!"

This book is well-designed, well-illustrated, and well-organized. The techniques learned in this kit can be used for almost any design you can come up with. It is a great beginners book, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing it. However, the reason I gave it four stars is that the nail-polish does not work the best. Although I admire the producers wanting to provide a non-toxic product, it does not stay on very well. If it is safe for your children, I recommend buying the basic colors from a convenience store. Besides the nail-polish issue, the book gives some cute and creative ideas for all ages. I have found it to be a fun book that gives me wonderful ideas for the future.

Summary: "Terribly over-priced"

While the book itself is a nice guide on creating nail art, the polish that comes with it peels off entirely too easily, so all of the nail art you have painstakingly created comes off before the hour is up - unless you are doing nothing but sitting in a chair with your hands flat on the table for that hour.

Either the caliber of nail polish needs to be changed or the price needs to come WAY down for this to be anything short of a rip-off.

My daughter and I bought some Wet and Wild polish and will try again. Too bad we couldn't get that money reimbursed from the price of this book.

I bought this as a "Get Well" gift for my 7-year old granddaughter. She called me to say she loved it! I understand everyone in her home received either a manicure or pedicure!

Summary: "Polish dry and broken!"

I got the book and gave it as a gift before I found out only ONE of the bottles of polish was useable! Two were completely dried out. The other two had broken polish brushes and were also dried out! Becareful if you buy this!

Summary: "Excellent book"

Excellent for girls, kids, creative women, great fun!! will having it. Will recomment for anyone who loves nail polish and wants to have fun. Great for parties, clubs, get togethers, special occasions to show off your new nail designs. I wore it to so many functions and each time i recieved so many compliments.
